Delicious gluten free chocolate chip cookies
These cookies are one of my favourite things to make when I am craving a treat, and they are delicious to dip in a warm tea.
Ingredients:
4 tbsp of tahini
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 cup of almond meal
2 x 1/3 cup of almond butter
50g dark chocolate (70% or over cacao) chopped into rough small pieces
A pinch of good-quality salt
Add all the ingredients together in a bowl and ensure everything is mixed well. Line a baking tray with baking paper and shape cookies to the size of your liking.
Bake them in the oven for approximately 20 minutes at 180°C - do not preheat the oven. Take them out when they start to turn golden. Watch them closely as they burn easily!
This makes approximately 10 cookies, depending on how big you want them.
