Meet Maddy

Maddy is a Clinical Naturopath who holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) and is a member of The Naturopaths & Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA). She is also a Registered Nurse with 10 years of hospital experience and is registered with The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Maddyโ€™s passion for holistic and preventative medicine began after having significant improvements in her skin, hormones and gut health with the help of Naturopaths. She had spent many years seeing different specialists and GPs for her health concerns however conventional medicine was unable to help her feel better. By addressing the underlying root causes and improving areas of her health such as stress, sleep and nutrition, she saw huge improvements in her health and wellbeing.

Her mission is to reduce the time it takes for clients to get real answers about their health and for it to not take 10 years like it did for her. She helps women navigate the conventional medicine system and to understand that it is an exceptional system for acute care but not for everything else. It predominantly uses band-aid approaches that donโ€™t address the root drivers of health conditions especially womenโ€™s health and gut health.

Itโ€™s now her mission to help others understand their bodies, why they feel the way they do and that they can heal their body, just like she did.

โ€œMaddy treats each client as an individual with their own health journey, which is reflected in the individualised treatment plans and prescriptions given to her clients.โ€

From Maddyโ€™s hospital experience, she became more drawn to preventative medicine after caring for so many patients suffering from preventable chronic diseases, especially during her time working as an oncology nurse.

She has a passion for gut health and the gut microbiome after suffering from decades of digestive issues herself and she will often request a gut microbiome analysis from her clients to understand their comprehensive health picture. The health of our gut microbiome is connected to all areas of our health such as mental health, metabolic conditions, hormone imbalances, vaginal and bladder conditions, and skin presentations. Maddy strongly believes that the human body and its many systems are intrinsically interconnected therefore a whole body, holistic approach is required to properly address a clientโ€™s health and wellbeing.

Maddy is a passionate and committed Naturopath based in Fremantle, Perth, who uses an evidence-based approach that utilises pathology and functional testing to assess her clientโ€™s health. Maddy strongly believes in integrating both conventional and natural medicine to ensure the best health outcomes for her clients, she keeps up to date with current research to guide and support her practice.

Maddy is dedicated to ensuring her clients feel heard, supported and empowered to take control of their health.
